How much is engraving ?

To engrave a single initial is $7.00; two or three initials is $10.00; monogram is $10.00; short sentiment is $15.00 for 15 characters. Each additional character is $1.50/each. See more about engraving here

What is a monogram?

A monogram is interlocking letters that form a design combining the person’s initials into one symbol. The last name is typically the initial in the center. The first name initial is smaller in size and positioned to the left and the middle initial is on the right side. See here for more information on Engraving

Do you engrave custom images?

Yes, we do. Please send us your artwork via email to We will evaluate your design and provide you with custom quote. Upon your confirmation of that price, we will engrave the locket to match your design.

Do you offer a variety of fonts for engraving?

Is it difficult to put my pictures into the locket?

What is Heartsmith’s Guarantee?

Heartsmith guarantees that you will be thrilled with your purchase or you may exchange or return standard stock items for a full refund, less shipping. Items must be returned within 30 days. Please note that due to the permanancy of the engraving, engraved jewelry is not returnable.

How do I return an item I have purchased?

Please send it back to us in the original packaging, with insurance if necessary. Please return items within 30 days. Delivery confirmation is recommended if you want to know when it arrives here. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages en route to us. Also please be aware that we cannot offer a return for an engraved/personalized item. Please send all returns to:

We will process returns as soon as possible and credit your original method of payment, less shipping. You will receive an email confirmation of the credit process

Does Heartsmith provide gift wrapping?

We ship your item in a box or a pouch, and place it in a beautiful presentation box with a gold foil label. It generally arrives ready to give.  We also include a gift card, and any product information card(s) that apply to the item you have bought, along with any warranty cards. If yu have any additional instructions we will try to honor them, please leave them in the text entry box on the order form. If we have any questions, we will contact you.

Once I place my order, how long will it take to ship?

Orders (including engraved orders) that are received before 12pm EST on weekdays are usually shipped the same day. Occasionally, fulfilling an order needs several days. We will let you know by email if it will take more than 3 days to ship out

What shipping methods does Heartsmith offer within the U.S.?

We offer basic rate shipping sent by US Priority Mail and takes 2-5 days to most US destinations. Express Mail is also offered, which will usually deliver the next day (in most cases) to most US destinations. Express Mail items that are heavier than the limit of 8oz. will be charged accordingly. (Sometimes multiple items weigh in more than 8oz).

Heartsmith also offers FedEx Ground on orders under $100. which takes 3-5 days to most US destinations.

Federal Express Express 2-Day and Fed Ex Overnight Delivery are also offered.  Please note that Fedex overnight shipping is overnight only for the next business day. An order shipped Fedex standard overnight on Friday won't be delivered until Monday. If you want the order on the weekend, we suggest using Express Mail, which will often deliver on Saturday.

Once your package is shipped from our site, an email will be sent to you with your tracking information. All shipping costs are provided in the Heartsmith shopping cart when checking out. For added protection, a signature will be required upon delivery for all packages valued over $150. unless cleared with us before we ship.

What shipping methods does Heartsmith offer internationally?

We ship to most EU countries and Canada. We ship First Class International through the United States Postal Office. or we use FedEx International.

For Australia, we ship FedEx International only.
All shipping prices are provided in the Heartsmith shopping cart when checking out. Heartsmith is not responsible for any Duties, VAT or Excise charges. For added protection, a signature will be required upon delivery for all packages valued over $150.

Will I be charged Duty for my international shipments?

Yes. When shipping First Class International/or International Priority Mail, merchandise may be subject to duty under the customs regulations of that country. The Postal Service does not maintain or provide information concerning the assessment of customs duty. The duty cost for your package will be charged by the local customs office at time of delivery. Heartsmith is not responsible for any Duties, VAT or Excise charges.

When shipping Federal Express International – it is the customer’s responsibility to pay VAT (Value added tax) and duty charges as brokered by Fed Ex based on the customs requirements in the destination country. Payment is expected at time of delivery.
For packages shipping to the UK: estimated VAT and duty charges equal about 20% of the declared value.
For packages shipping to Canada: you may be required to pay PST (Provincial Sales Tax) once the package is received in the province.

What if my item is out of stock?

If you order an item that is currently on our website that is on back order, we will call or email you (or both) within a 24 hour period.  You will then have the option to wait for that item or to choose another.

What if I cannot decide on a particular item?

All of our jewelry are one-of-a-kind treasures and sometimes it is hard to decide which one is the right one for you or for the loved one you are purchasing a gift for. Not to worry, Heartsmith offers gift certificates in most denominations. Call Us. 888 501 8777

Do you provide your customers with special offers or coupons?

Yes, we often post special deals on our home page. To make sure that you receive all of our coupons, please sign up for our mailing list. We send monthly emails with specials to all of our loyal customers if they want them.

Do you provide any special offers to your customers who are in the military?

Yes, Heartsmith is proud to offer free shipping to all of our military customers who are presently deployed overseas. Simply enter the coupon code “GODBLESS” in the shopping cart, when checking out.

How long will it take to get my order if it ships FEDEX 2 Day or FEDEX Overnight?

Please note, that FEDEX does not deliver on weekends.  Therefore, an order shipping out on a Thursday, going FEDEX 2-day will not be recieved until the following Monday.

Likewise, an order shipping FEDEX OVERNIGHT on a Friday will not be recieved until the following Monday. If you need help deciding on what ship method to choose please call us at 888 501 8777.

Can I enclose a message on a gift card?
